Several turnout paddocks of varying sizes for racehorse use daily a two horse box for raceday transport Shovelstrode Racing aims always to be an accessible owner friendly yard.

We welcome visits and organise an owners morning on the last saturday of every month (excluding July and December).The open mornings have been well received with the opportunity to see the horses on the gallops as well as tea and a sandwich.
We operate Sole Ownership, Joint Ownership, Partnerships, Corporate
Ownership, as well as a new Racing Club.

OWNERSHIPS
SYNDICATES. Syndicate horses are always welcome at Shovelstrode we are only to pleased to arrange to syndicate a horse or provide expert guidance to the tricky task of purchasing a suitable horse, whether it be a yearling or a current horse in training.
HISTORY
The Saxon Manor of Shevelstrode (Shovelstrode) has had a chequered history since it was first recorded in the Domesday Book in 1086. Given to Robert Count of Mortain by his half-brother William Duke of Normandy, better known as William the Conqueror, Shovelstode Estate was one of the many holdings held by the Count in 19 counties, making him the largest landowner after William.
SYNDICATE SATURDAY
You can also meet Zoe and the team at Lingfield Park Racecourse on 'SYNDICATE SATURDAY' 2nd August 2008. Come along and find out all about the thrills and spills of owning a racehorse. There will be a parade of racehorses before the first race with available shares, followed by 6 races run on the Turf and All Weather Track.
